“YAH! What are you doing?” Luhan screamed as he spotted two men descending behind the worn out gate, an unconscious boy under their arm. Tao, who was beside him glanced towards the direction, surprised by the fury laced in the older’s voice.
One of the men looked over, caught and startled by the voice, clear guilt written across as he struggled to say something, anything, although nothing would have made the twenty year old changed his mind, eyes shadowing with rage.
“None of your business kid! Now moves and no one gets hurt.” The other said with a huff, continuing to open the car door.
Luhan merely looked at Tao who after a moment of reluctance exasperatedly clicked his fingers.
Luhan merely smirked as everything stilled.
Scooting across carefully, the older took the stone cold boy, scampering away before skittering into the alley, Tao swiftly following along.
His phone tucked under his ear and hands occupied by holding the light boy, the older dialled the first number, Tao huffing under his breath.
“Hello?” A muffled voice intoned on the other line.
“Hey, Yixing; you know I love you?”
“…what do you want you stinking pig?” The other’s voice quickly changed, tone annoyed and Tao only chuckled, still amused by the two’s friendship.
Luhan rolled his eyes, mentally remembering to pick up some unicorn plush to make the boy happy again. “Can you revive a boy for me please?”
“…Do you know how hard that is? We need to find the soul and our grandpa here is not getting any younger with his poor eyesight and all.”
Another voice squawked indignantly and Luhan sniggered as scuffles were heard before a lighter voice squeaked out, “I am not a grandpa; we’re the same age for god sake!”
“Quiet Suho!” Yixing huffed before sighing at Luhan, “I’m guessing you’re coming to us anyway?”
“Yep.”
An exhale later and lots of profanities, Yixing breathed out, “Come quickly then.”
With the phone closed and in his phone, Luhan looked down at the boy whose hair ruffled under the cold wind, eyes close yet face so porcelain and lips rosy red.
“He’s dead right now, how are you even making oogly eyes, ge?”
“Shut up Tao; let me have my moment here.” Luhan hissed back, looking adoringly at the fragile boy under his arms. Baozi.
That’s what he’ll call him.
